Jump Ahead Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for a temporary, full-time, school-based assignment near Somerset, New Jersey. Position Details

• Setting: School-Based Services (Private School)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM
• Compensation: Excellent, paid for the full school day
• Placement: Cohort Model — no travel required
• Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
• Position Length: Temporary, February through June 2026

Responsibilities

• Design and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning and analyze performance data
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Participate in curriculum development and professional learning communities
• Build strong relationships with students and families, provide regular communication on progress, and actively participate in school events

Requirements

• High School English Certification (required)
• 30 English Credits
• Special Education Certification (preferred)
